CHAIRPERSON Connie Mullins, Connie has been a member of NAPM/ISM since 1974. She has served NAPM Tulsa since that time in the roles of Committee Chairs, 1st and 2nd Vice President, President, DNA and Advisor as well as serving on special activities committees. She was presented the W.L. Bill James Outstanding Member Award in 1986. In 1985, she was named one of the Outstanding Women in Purchasing by Purchasing World Magazine. She has served the Southwest Supply Chain Forum since its inception in 2001 as the Chair for the Southwest Purchasing Conference. Prior to that, Connie served District II as Conference Chair in 1990 and from 1999-2000; as Secretary-Treasurer from 1991-1995. Connie was awarded the Harold M. Cosgrove Outstanding Purchasing Management Award in 1993. In 2005, Connie was elected 1st Vice Chair/Chair Elect of the Southwest Supply Chain Forum for the term 2005-2007. In 2007, she was installed as the Chair of the Forum. She served as a member of the ISM Leadership Training Committee and has presented at ISM Leadership Training Workshops from 2001-2006. ADVISOR Eddie R. Burton A member of ISM since 1980Eddie is Sr. Project Services Specialist for The Benham Companies, LLC, an SAIC Company in Tulsa OK . In Purchasing since 1979 and at Benham since 2006 , Eddie has a history of responsible positions as planner, purchasing agent, purchasing manager and corporate director of purchasing. He holds a BBA in Business Administration from Texas A & M University and has advanced Purchasing and Computer Software Application skills. While an active member of NAPM Texas Panhandle from 1980-1989, his career brought him to Woodward Oklahoma in 1989 where he was a member of NAPM Oklahoma City from 1989-1995. Then on to Tulsa where he has enthusiastically assumed one responsibility after another on the Board. Over the past five (5) years, he has served the Tulsa Affiliate as Pro-D Vice Chair, Programs Chair, First Vice President, President, Director for National Affairs (DNA) and most recently Director at Large. He has also served on the local community college Purchasing/Materials Management Advisory Council, and was the General Conference Chair for the Southwest Purchasing Conference Chair held in Tulsa, OK September 2000. Eddie has served on the national level for the past several years acting as Chair of the Affiliate Support Council, Groups and Fourm Support Council and also as a workshop leader for ISM Annual Summer Leadership Training Workshops. VICE CHAIR Mary Walker, MBA, C.P.M., CPPM As a member of the ISM-Dallas affiliate, Mary has served as library chair, secretary, 3rd Vice President, 2nd Vice President, 1st Vice President, President and has returned to the position of 1st Vice President and Awards Chair. Mary served on the Affiliate Support Council and is currently serving on the Leadership Training Committee. She is Vice Chair for the Materials Management Group. Mary started working with the Forum at the Dallas Southwest Purchasing Conference as Vice Chair and Facilities Chair. She handled the facilities also for the Oklahoma City, Galveston (cancelled), Albuquerque, and Galveston conferences. Walker was presented the Volunteer Person of the Year Award in 2002 presented by the Southwest Forum. In 2003-2004 she received the Presidential Citation Award presented by NAPM-Dallas. Mary led the ISM-Dallas Affiliate to win the Affiliate of the Year Award in 2005 and also received national's Volunteer of the Year Award in 2005. The Hubert T. Fuller award, the highest award presented by the ISM-Dallas affiliate was presented to Mary in 2007. Mary was awarded the Harold M. Cosgrove Outstanding Purchasing Management Award in 2007. Mary holds lifetime C.P.M. and A.P.P. certifications. Mary has an MBA in International Supply Chain Management from Atlantic International University and an MBA from the California University of Management and Science. CONFERENCE CHAIR Kathy Bridwell, C.P.M., a member of ISM-Dallas,is the Director of Purchasingfor the American Heart Association National Center in Dallas, Texas. She held prior positions in supply management in multiple industries. She received her BBA from Abilene Christian University and her MS from Amber University. She held positions with ISM-Dallas, including President and Director for National Affairs and is a recipient of the Hubert T. Fuller Outstanding Member Award. She served as Secretary/Treasurer of ISM District II, and is a member of the Board of the Southwest Forum. She serves as Chair of the Southwest Supply Management Conference. EDUCATION Elton D. Brock, MBA, CTPM, C.P.M. As member of NAPM-Central Texas, and NAPM-Austin for the past nine years, Elton has held Board positions of increasing responsibility and currently serves as the Immediate Past-President of NAPM-Central Texas and Programs Chairman of NAPM-Austin for 2008. Elton holds both a B.S. and MBA Degrees from Sam Houston State University, in Huntsville, Tx. Elton is a Certified Texas Purchasing Manager as licensed by Texas Building and Procurement Commission and is very proud of achieving the National Designation of C.P.M. from the Institute for Supply Management.
